Abstract
Soil salinity is regarded as the major hurdle for the cultivation of crops especially in the arid and semi-arid regions of the world causing drastic reduction in the yield of crops plants, threatening the global food production potentials. Inoculating the crop plants with the efficient salt tolerant plant growth promoting rhizobacteria will certainly helps the plant to overcome the adverse effect of salt stress and make the plants to survive better under salt stress condition and to produce healthy yield.
