Abstract
The objective of the study was to understand the effect of probiotic such as lactic acid bacteria isolated from different sources like curd, milk, as well as commercially available yeast on the growth parameters of the Zebra fish (Danio rerio). In this experiment fish were divided into two groups, the first one was supplemented with the probiotics and commercial food, while the other group was supplemented with only commercial food. The sample size for each group was 10 which were measured for body weight gain every week during 60 days experiment. At the end of the experiment, the growth performance and survival rate was compared.
