Abstract
Iron oxide as a nano filler material to Nylon 6/Teflon matrix doubles the tensile strength and increases the hardness of the composites. There is the occurrence of agglomeration among iron oxide particles owing high surface energy. The addition of 3 % of iron oxide yields better mechanical properties.
