Abstract
Spring elasticity is dependent upon 3 basic components of spring Spring constant, Damping constant and mass of the object. In this project we will build a computer simulation model to see the effects of these 3 parameters on spring elasticity and its functionalities. We will use matlab and simulink to model spring elasticity equations. We will also modify the equations to enable user defined inputs of above 3 parameters. A simulink model is obtained using which we run computer simulation number times according to user defined inputs and model the response of spring elasticity with varying user defined input parameters.
