Abstract
The Internet of things (IoT) is a technological phenomenon which is evolving from the innovative developments in Information and Communication Technology. Using Internet Protocol connectivity it is now possible to connect any devices to the internet and allowing them to be controlled and managed from any place and at any time. With the increase in the use of Wi-Fi technology to access internet, IoT is further evolving into Internet of Wi-Fi enabled things. Wi-Fi provides advantages such as IP-based communications, Security and integrity, flexibility. This paper discusses the scenario of Internet of Wi-Fi enabled things and the related technologies.
