Abstract
Oxaaza-mixed macrocyclic complexes of alkaline earth metals such as Mg (II), Ca (II), Sr (II) and Ba (II) synthesized by using macrocyclic ligand, which is obtained by condensation of L1 and L2 (where L1 = 1, 16-diamino-4, 7, 10, 13-tetraoxahexadecane and L2 = 2, 3-pentanedione). These resulting complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR, 1H-NMR, Mass spectra, molar conductance, and magnetic moments. All the synthesized complexes have been screened for their antifungal and antibacterial activities.
