Abstract
This work aims to optimize the adsorption performance of an industrial dye on waste mint realizing an optimization approach based on composite experimental design centered. Two influencing factors of the adsorption process were selected The initial concentration of the adsorbate and the adsorbent mass. Then these factors were optimized using statistical and mathematical tools of a second degree polynomial model regression analysis, canonical analysis, graphical representation of curves isoresponse and response surfaces, to lead to the selection of optimal conditions pH = 7.1, Stirring time = 120 min, low initial concentration of the adsorbate and strong adsorbent mass.
