Abstract
Data transmission over wireless channels is affected by attenuation, distortion, interference and noise that affect the receiver-s ability to receive correct information. Convolution codes are used in many communication systems due to their excellent error-control performance. This paper presents the convolution encoder of constraint length 9 and code rate 1/3.
