Abstract
In this paper we show that what are neural networks and they are more important in todays Artificial intelligence, because more advances have been made in developing intelligent system, some inspired by biological neural networks. Artificial neural networks give a very exciting alternatives and other application which can play important role in todays computer science field and also provide for those readers with little or no knowledge of artificial neural networks to help them understand the other articles in this issue of Computer. Describe the basic biological neuron and the artificial computer model, network architectures and learning processes, and present some of the most commonly used artificial neural networks models. We conclude with artificial neural network applications.
