Pulmonary embolisms has non specific clinical presentation, PE is often referred to as the great masquerader and remains a diagnostic challenge to both the clinicians and radiologists. In this study we researched how MDCT would help in early detection of pulmonary embolism in clinically suspected cases of pulmonary embolism. MDCTPA reveals significant additional diagnoses which ensure appropriate patient management without delay.
