Abstract
Digital image scrambling is the technique which transforms a meaningful image into a meaningless or disordered image in order to enhance the ability to confront attack and in turn improve the security. Various image scrambling techniques are designed to make the image content unintelligible. This discussion focuses on the different kinds of image scrambling techniques. In general, the better an image is scrambled, the better the information is hidden. Image scrambling technology is basically used in image encryption method by which the original image information can be hidden, so that the information will not be easily intercepted.
