Abstract
Photochemical degradation of nitrobenzene is studied using monoclinic BiVO4 under visible light irradiation. m-BiVO4 is prepared by room temperature solid-state metathesis reaction between BiOCl and NaVO3 and characterized in terms of XRD, and SEM. Photocatalytic studies indicated that complete degradation of nitrobenzene occurred for 120min of irradiation.
