Abstract
Xenobiotic exposure and envenomation are common health hazards in North region in India. World Health Organization (WHO) estimated, 0.3 million people die every year due to various poisoning agents. In the Indian scenario very few studies have been done in North India regarding the epidemiology of poisoning. The present study is focused to analyze the problems, so that meaningful data can be generated for policy formulation regarding treatment of such cases in North West Region, India.
