Abstract
The thermal properties of Fe2O3, Fe3O4 and CoFe2O4 nanoparticles (NPs) was evaluated in this study. Fe2O3, Fe3O4 and CoFe2O4 NPs exhibited high temperature rise (T oC), heating rate (T/t oC/ sec) and specific absorption rate (SAR w/ g). Induction heater operated at 100 kHz was used. This study indicates that Fe2O3, Fe3O4 and CoFe2O4 NPs could be the most suitable for magnetic hyperthermia treatment (MHT).
