Abstract
The aim of this work is to set an adequate discrete HIV models taking into consideration two antiretroviral Pro- tease Inhibitors and Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors. Furthermore, we investigate optimal control strategies in order to reduce infected cells and infectious virions. Using an iterative method, three numerical simulations are carried out, compared and interpreted to confirm the validity of the model and prove the performance of the op- timization strategies. Finally, we improve the patients lives by minimizing serious side effects and also reducing drug costs and duration of treatments
