Abstract
The inhibiting effect of drugs towards the corrosion of different metals and alloys has been reviewed in this paper. Results of Weight loss method, Potentiodynamic polarization and Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were investigated. Kinetic and thermodynamic parameters provide valuable information about the mechanism of corrosion inhibition. Different classes of drugs, having hetero-atoms or aromatic ring in their molecular structures were reported in this article.
