Abstract
Using ISTA techniques, the seed borne fungi of Pigeon pea (Cajanus cajan Linn. ) was studied. A total of 15 genera and 29 species of fungi were isolated, and been recorded from seeds of Pigeon pea. The blotter method agar plate method was found to be most suitable technique for detection of fungi in Peageon pea. There was the detection of Fusarium spp, Aureobasidium pullulans, Gleomatix sp. , Gleosporium sp. , Trichoderma sp. and Penicillium purpurogenum done by these two methods.
