Abstract
Due to boom in construction industry, natural sand and M sand are depleting at an alarming rate cause several environmental issues. At this stage copper slag, an industrial byproduct generated during smelting and refining of Copper can be a partial alternative for fine aggregate where its world annual generation is about 33 million tonnes. The project look through the use of copper slag as partial replacement to M sand and natural sand for the designed M 25 grade mix concrete. Compressive strength responses of above alternatives performed, and observed maximum value at 40 % copper slag replacement which up to 36 % increment.
