Abstract
The authors assessed the mediating effect of communication drivers on the relationship between task performance and attitude towards change of public elementary school heads. The subjects of the study were the public elementary school heads evaluated by 391 teachers from the 10 divisions of Davao Region, Philippines. The number of samples was determined through Slovins formula. Moreover, descriptive statistics, regression and Sobel z-test were the statistics used. The data indicated a strong association between variables. The results of the study indicated that communication drivers reinforced the significant relationship of task performance and attitude towards change of school heads. This resulted from the significant partial mediation of communication drivers in the relationship between the two variables. Further studies were warranted
