Abstract
The present study delt with the effects of di- (2-ethylhexyl) -phthalate (DEHP) on the skeletal system of the prenatal fetuses of 20thday of gestation. DEHP treatment caused fetal mortality, retarded weight, length and ossification of some bones and shortness of others. Skull, vertebrae, sternum, girdles and limbs were the main affected by DEHP.
