Abstract
Reduction of noise is essential especially in the field of image processing. Several researchers are continuously w orking in this direction and provide some good insights, but still there are lot of scope in this field. Noise mixed with image is harmful for image processing. In this paper we survey several aspects of image denoising and fourth - order partial differentia l equation. We also discuss several traditional methodology used with their advantages and disadvantages. We also provide a deep analysis based on the literature work from the previous research.
