FEATURES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN POTENTIAL IN THE CONDITIONS OF FORMATION OF THE ECONOMY OF KNOWLEDGE

The article discusses the theoretical foundations of the formation of the knowledge economy, outlines the key features of development of human potential in these conditions. Indicators reflecting the level of education, innovative and communication development of are analyzed, the dependence between these indicators and the level of the knowledge economy was revealed, and the features of its development in individual states are revealed. The results of the study made it possible to determine that educational institutions and research centers are the basic factor in the formation of the knowledge economy as a new model of development and of human potential. The modern educational models are considered, their brief characteristic is given. The possibilities and prospects for the development of the knowledge economy on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic are analyzed, the main problems and advantages are identified.
