FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY: SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECT

The article substantiates the expansion of the terminological apparatus in the field of digitalization of the economy. Based on a deep study of the theoretical foundations and applied aspects of digitalization of the economy, the content content of the digital economy was generalized and systematized, followed by the allocation of such scientific and methodological approaches to its study: global, cybernetic, sectoral, technological, integrated, polymethodological. A comparative analysis of existing approaches made it possible to draw attention to the singular nature of the development of the digital economy in modern conditions. The obtained scientific results can be used as the initial prerequisites for creating new paradigms of digitalization of the economy, which will better reveal the essence of the concept of "digital economy" and identify its ontological foundations.
