Abstract
The present work is performed for the manufacturing of bricks or building block from sand, saw dust and waste plastic. The bricks or building blocks are manufactured by mixing m- sand, saw dust and waste plastic by heating at 200 oc. It is an innovation technique in manufacturing the brick. In this study, waste plastic has been used for the preparation of plastic bricks. In this manufacture of plastic bricks sand is used as a replacement of saw dust by 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25% respectively. 5 mix ratio is used for finding ultimate strength. All the five types of bricks were manufactured with the 1:4 Ratio of bricks. The compressive strength should be find out by using Compressive Testing Machine. The water absorption of plastic bricks decreased with increase in the percentage replacement of sand by saw dust of the plastic bricks. These Bricks are light weight and economically low.
