Abstract
Growing concern over global environmental pollution, sudden depletion of petroleum based resources, persistence of plastic in the human world have stimulated efforts to develop co-friendly, biodegradable products with enriched performance. The composite materials came to the forefront a few decades ago because of the right substitute for the existing conventional materials. In specific, sustainable materials processed by lower energy consumption like natural fiber composites. Currently, several researchers and material scientists are concentrating their surveillance on high fiber yielding plants without compromising mechanical and other important properties.
Natural fibers can be extracted from various parts of plants like leaves, stems, roots, fruits and seeds. Nowadays, there is a thirst to investigate the possibility of natural fibers, which is available in local may be used as a novel reinforcement to fabricate lightweight composite structures
