Abstract
Methodical approach to the selection of innovative models of mine workings supports in the coal mines is improved. Based on the comparison of discounted costs and profits earned over the life cycle of the equipment, such parameters as operation time and replacement time are grounded. The cost-effectiveness of using innovative ways of mine workings support is proposed to determine with regard to their realizable value.
