Abstract
We present a Mathematical model for the dynamics of Lassa fever transmission and control. The model is a modified form of the traditional SIR model for infectious disease. The numerical simulation of the disease transmission is carried out using MATLAB ode 45. The effect of the control measure on the susceptible group, the infected group and the recovered group within a period of 100 days are presented.
