Abstract
The report describes the relationship between the atmospheric electricity field, the Earth’s crust structure and the near-surface processes taking place in it. The description is given of the existing formation models of the atmospheric electricity field. The research results carried out by geoelectrical methods over the hydrocarbon deposits are presented.
