Abstract
Secondary macronutrients are less commonly yield limiting than the primary macronutrients (N, P, and K), yet are required by crops in relatively large amounts. Sulfur (S), calcium (Ca), and magnesium (Mg) are considered secondary macronutrients because they are less commonly yield limiting than the primary macronutrients (N, P, and K), yet are required by crops in relatively large amounts.
