Abstract
The loss of economic balance as a result of the diplomatic and economic isolation of the Donetsk People’s Republic requires finding an optimal way to shift from the current state of socio-economic development to the desired one through the formation and implementation of a strategic planning system. The article is devoted to determining the place, role and outline of the strategic planning system in the strategic management of the social and economic development of the DPR.
