Abstract

From authors such as Schumpeter, McClelland, Timmons, among others, in addition to the approaches of law 1014 of 2006 on promotion of entrepreneurship culture, the present research is articulated, which has as main objective, to identify the characterization of the culture of enterprise in the Municipal Education Institutions of the rural sector of municipality of Pasto - Colombia. The research seeks to verify the aspects of appropriation, knowledge and the development of entrepreneurial skills of students, according to the guidelines set forth in Guide 39 of Ministry of National Education, which establishes nine entrepreneurial attitudes,. These attitudes are based on student cognition and allow the gradual development of competences, integrated by the thinking skills, skills, attitudes, values ​​and practices inherent to the development of entrepreneurial thinking, in such a way as to respond to the needs of student. environment. A quantitative approach is used, using the type of descriptive study, accompanied by the design and application as a structured instrument for the collection of information, such as the surveys, addressed to the eleventh grade students of the institutions under study. This research tries to identify the essences and the patterns that characterize the profile of these students, evaluating their traits, behaviors and entrepreneurial attitudes, as determinant elements that have an impact on the social and economic progress of the sidewalks and corregimientos of municipality of Pasto.
