Abstract
Garlerkin?s Finite Element discretization of the beam equation of the form where has the meaning of flexural rigidity per linear mass density, is the beamdeflection and is the external forcing term gave a system of ordinary differential equations [1]. I have investigated the approximation of the system of ordinarydifferential equations using finite difference method.
