Еvаluаtіоn of thе Соntеmроrаry Stаtе of thе Dероsіt Mаrkеt of Ukrаіnе

The urgency of the article is due to the fact that deposit operations always remain a priority for any financial institution. An important factor in the development of the economy is the availability of accumulated cash resources by commercial banks in the form of deposits. The purpose of the article is to study and analyze the deposit market of Ukraine by comparing certain indicators of this sphere. The methodological basis of the study was general scientific and special methods and methods of research. The article investigates the main directions of activity of banks on the account of attraction of temporarily free cash funds of the population, the influence of modern economic development on the development of the deposit market of Ukraine. The factors that influence the efficiency of the results of deposit activity of banking institutions have been revealed. The features of functioning of the deposit market of Ukraine for the last three years, i.e. from 2015 to the present, have been characterized. The dynamics of changes in rates for deposit deposits has been highlighted. It has been determined that the main instrument of development of banking activity in the field of deposit operations is the public confidence in the banking system as a whole, as well as the main bank ratings according to various criteria. The practical significance of the results is to find ways and suggestions for the development of attraction of deposit operations and deposit market of Ukraine as a whole. The analysis can be used to create a mechanism for attracting public funds by banking institutions. Further research will be aimed at finding effective ways to support the Ukrainian deposit market, as well as identifying the impact of various factors in this area.
