DISTINCTIVE FEATURES OF VICTOR HUGO’ S THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE- DAME (NOTRE-DAME DE PARIS)

This article analyzes the specific charachteristics of the protagonists of Victor Hugo' s The Hunchback of Notre- Dame. The peculiarities of the images of Esmeralda and Quasimodo in the work are considered and analyzed from the beginning to the end of the novel. The event at the end of this novel is also of special significance.
