Formation of professional mobility of future social workers: foreign experience

Abstract

The article analyzes the foreign experience of formation of professional mobility of future social workers on the example of Australia, Canada, France. The essence of professional mobility is disclosed, its factors, types, components are specified. The emphasis is made on the peculiarities of the Australian system of higher social education, which has the following features of European education: multi-level and continuity, accessibility, efficiency and quality. It is found that the formation of professional mobility of future social workers in Australia is carried out by promoting the continuity of different levels of training of specialists; development of new mechanisms for access to various types of higher education; improvement models of training of specialists and mechanisms of alternate training; promotion the further development of the system of higher social education. The main mechanisms of formation of professional mobility of social workers in France are characterized: profiling of training of specialists in the social sphere, introduction of the category of "recognition of professional competence", the period of professionalization and individual right to training. It is determined that Canada's social education system meets international standards, is characterized by dynamism, flexibility and continuity in the training of specialists. It is noted that the training of social workers as general practitioners in Canada creates conditions for the professional mobility of a specialist, since it does not limit the scope of his professional activities to a set of highly specialized competencies. Based on the generalization of foreign experience in forming the professional mobility of future social workers, possible ways of creative use of the positive experience of Australia, Canada and France in the national conditions are identified.
