Abstract
The article analyzes the theoretical aspects of the preparation of primary school teachers for social work. The concept of "communication" and "social communication" is analyzed. The content of the concept of "communication" changes simultaneously with the development and complication of technical means of communication, globalization and informatization of society. Communication is a process of semantic exchange of information between people (individuals and groups) with the help of symbols and symbols, in which the information is transmitted purposefully, is taken selectively in accordance with certain rules, regardless of whether this process leads to an understanding. Social communication - the exchange between people or other social entities by integral sign messages, which reflects information, knowledge, ideas, emotions, etc., due to a number of socially significant assessments, specific situations, communicative spheres and norms of communication, adopted in this society. In the process of professional training of teachers, according to the words, it is expedient to pay special attention to the formation of communicative abilities, which should be the teacher, in particular: to quickly and correctly navigate in changing conditions of communication; plan and implement the system of communication correctly; quickly and accurately find communicative means that at the same time correspond to the individual characteristics of both the subject and object of communication; constantly feel and maintain feedback in communication. Some exercises for the development of communicative skills of junior pupils are given.
