Intellectual abilities of a future teacher of Ukrainian language as a result of successful educational and professional activity

Abstract

The concept of "ability" on the basis of psychological and pedagogical literature is analyzed in the article. The attention is drawn to the fact that the student's abilities are manifested in the process of activity, but outside of it, these abilities cannot be recognized, described and characterized. It is proved that each human ability represents a way to successful, productive and creative activity in a particular sphere according to specific requirements, and constant intense work on the development of personality abilities forms his competence, opens wide opportunities for self-improvement in the chosen sphere of activity. It is found out that a high level of intellectual abilities development can be achieved in the student's age: identification, formulation and non-standard solution of new problems; production of innovative ideas; the ability to respond quickly to changes; the ability to improve the object; the manifestation of the intellectual initiative and the creation of something new that in the methodical system of forming the subject-specific competences provides student's individual ability to acquire knowledge, observing, understanding, analyzing and synthesizing the educational material from the disciplines of the linguistic cycle, the ability to generate innovative ideas, deepen the problem and take non-standard ways to solve it in a practical aspect. The classification of special linguistic abilities has been proposed, which include: academic abilities based on the ability to assimilate and characterize the language phenomenon (theoretical and practical aspects); speech and communicative abilities include the abilities to understand the fundamental role of language in human life, to understand that speech skills are the path to professional formation of future Ukrainian language teacher's growth; national-centric abilities provide the ability of the Ukrainian language speaker for the language's self-identification as the native and state; sensory and verbal abilities as the abilities to feel, perceive the image of the word, to represent the object being described, briefly, clearly and clearly express their thoughts; aesthetic abilities - the abilities to self-develop by means of language; mastery of the word; regulatory and cognitive abilities is used to know the world around with the help of the received linguistic knowledge. Special attention is paid to the formation of the creativity and linguistic creativity of the future Ukrainian language teacher. The definition of the concept of "metacognitive awareness" as the level and type of introspective human perceptions about individual intellectual resources is interpreted.
