Questionnaire as one of the means of ensuring the quality management of educational services

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to describe the experience of Mukachevo State University in conducting questionnaire through students on the problem of determining their level of satisfaction with the organization and support of the educational process as an important component of the internal system of monitoring the quality of educational services. According to the quality assurance standards and recommendations in the European Higher Educational Area, students are the key stakeholders in the internal system of quality assurance in higher education. In order to implement the principle of "student-centered learning" and protect the basic interests of students to receive a high-quality education and the proper level of support of the educational process, the Mukachevo State University conducts a survey of higher education applicants, which allows to provide information conditions for the formation of a holistic organization of education about the quality of education activities and educational process and is carried out on the principles of transparency, objectivity, academic integrity, voluntariness, systematics. The semester-long monitoring of the organization and quality of teaching and support of the educational process is an effective tool of communication between the teacher and the student, through which the student can submit his or her suggestions and assessment regarding the educational process, some teachers and disciplines, as well as offer his or her ideas regarding educational and organizational questions. The study in 2019 was conducted in 2 phases: in April 2019 and in September 2019, to maximize students' accumulated impressions of winter and summer sessions. The subject of the research was the students' opinion regarding to the peculiarities of teaching, social and informational support of the educational process at the university. The obtained results are subject to analysis at the meetings of the departments, a joint meeting of the university rectorate and student self-government bodies, and further, a complex of measures has being developed to improve the organization and support of the educational process, social infrastructure, etc.
