Individual work of students as the basis of professional training of future teacher

Abstract

Forming of highly skilled well-informed specialist in modern terms is impossible without bringing in students independent work, that is the basic means of capturing educational material at obligatory lessons. Aim of the article is to consider the concept of independent work of students, to expose the specificity of organization of independent work of students in the process of their professional preparation. In the context of modern paradigm of studies independent work dominates among other types of educational activity of students and allows to consider knowledge as the object of student's own activity. Educational cognitive activity of students in the process of implementation of independent work is characterized by the high level of in dependence, mobility and activity, as well as by the sense of responsibility, necessary for the future professional in studies and professional activity. As far as an analysis of the investigated problem showed, the strongest are knowledge, abilities and skills that have been acquired independently, and a future specialist will be professional in case of showing cognitive interest in studies, taught to work systematically, creatively, independently, acquiring new knowledge. Methodology of organization of independent work of students depends on a structure, character and features of discipline that is studied, to the volume of hours, different types of tasks for independent work of students, individual internalss of students and terms of educational activity. Experience shows that for rational distribution of students time during the study of pedagogical disciplines the help of teachers has a large value. This help takes the form of a methodical pointing that contains the weekly unfolded plan of lecture, practical (seminar) employments. In preparation for the practical seminars it is necessary the student to be acquainted with a lessons plan, with the necessary work on it, knowledge about the subject of reports and capability to discuss it. Methodical instructions also contain open-ended questions and tests of academic disciplines to test the mastering of educational material to the list of final control, a list of references recommended to prepare for each lesson. Summarizing mentioned above, the independent work of students is the major component of improvement of educational-educator process, that helps to form professionally important practical abilities and skills.
