Abstract

The aim of the article – is to analyze the group indicators of level-rated characteristics of general fitness level of pedagogical faculty students of Mukachevo state university. General fitness level of pedagogical faculty students of Mukachevo state university has been defined in the article due to the testing of overall physical condition. The analysis of group indicators concerning level-rated characteristics of students general fitness level in absolute and percentage values has been carried out, as well as possible causes of students physical fitness decrease of different ages have been identified. The results of the investigation. It has been pointed out by physical education and sport experts, that one of the main objectives of physical education is to improve students' physical fitness. To solve this and other important tasks of physical education a systematic pedagogical control is required. Its value resides in well-timed obtaining of urgent and full information about the student's level of motor abilities. It is possible to increase each student's management efficiency of physical education and build up the motor skills development process more rationally after having analyzed the marks received. Based on the results of the conducted tests and the identified problems in the development of students' physical fitness it should be pointed out, that most of them have an average level of physical fitness, and while analyzing these indicators, the attention must be paid to the age-related anatomical and physiological characteristics of students as well as to the other factors that affect them. The level of the proposed qualifying standards for testing corresponds to the data for age peculiarities of this age girls. Due to the decrease of the classes, the performance decrease has been observed, thus, taking into account the allotted time to discipline, self-organization exercises due to the selected system are necessary. Thus, the improving of the physical fitness of young people, and hence, the level of health, is possible, only if the systematic purposeful physical training with special training regimes that are of developmental character. These are not only academic and sectional classes in higher educational establishments, but, first of all, the performance of independent home-tasks etc. These classes could change the situation with health and physical fitness of young people for the better. Therefore it is necessary to improve teaching methods, to introduce new technologies in the educational process to minimize the number of classes contributed to the maximum health effect, aroused interest among students to self-improvement.
