Abstract

This study deals with digital technologies in the educational field and in the teaching of History, as well as the issues involved in its insertion and the possibilities of their realization through digital training environments. For this, we carried out a qualitative bibliographic research based on Silva (2007), Tamanini and Sousa (2019), Guedes (2012), Tavares (2020), Martins and Souza (2020), Cruz and Martins (2016), Castro (2010), Seffner (2013) and Fonseca (2003), among others. As a result, the irreversibility of new technologies in the current social paradigm was found. The study revisits theoretical assumptions that express the need for history teachers to be responsive to new training demands that are posed, recognizing the new scenarios that are configured with the digitization of many processes of human life, and the incorporation of cyberspace in their planning
