An important and relevant for society problem of the relationship between language and national identity requires a comprehensive and unbiased analysis from the standpoint of modern science, taking into account the construction of a new model of public administration. That is why the publication of Bohdan Azhniuk's monograph "Language Policy: Ukraine and the World" became an event that attracted the attention of society. The focus of the analysis, as the author himself notes, is "traditional and new concepts of language policy and language planning, language ecology", questions of bilingualism and multilingualism, ie those questions that are extremely necessary for society to answer.
