Evaluation of the biological activity of high-molecular polymer compounds

The biological activity of a high-molecular polymer has been studied, the prospect of using it requires an assessment of its general toxic and genotoxic potential. In an experiment on the Drosophila melanogaster animal test system, results were obtained on the effect of this xenobiotic on the first-generation sex ratio, reproductive ability, viability, and inheritance of certain morphological traits.
