Abstract
The most effective for the detoxification of drilling mud is the technology of encapsulation of silicon dioxide using sodium silicate and sodium dodecyl sulfate and activated sludge as a structurant at a pH value in the range of 4-5 for this mixture. This approach allows to obtain a non-toxic substrate that can be used for various economic purposes.
