Abstract
The article discusses an algorithm for searching for CpG islands using hidden Markov models. The created software product makes it possible to identify protein-coding regions of the genome in accordance with the Viterbi decoding algorithm and to visualize the path of the highest probability in biological sequences of eukaryotes in accordance with the values of the transition and emission probabilities.
