Abstract
There are presented the results of analysis of approaches to resource support of fire service units of foreign countries (on example of the USA, Germany and China). There is analyzed the practice in terms of rationing the quantity as well as the material and technical support of fire departments. There was revealed fundamental difference in approaches, which is expressed in the degree of state participation in the regulation of issues of management and resource provision of fire departments.
