Abstract
Dental caries and malocclusion are the most common oral health problems faced by mankind. Oral health problems can be partly explained by the fact that these diseases are genetically linked. It is a known fact that the epithelium of lips and tooth develop at the same time of intrauterine life. So our study was an attempt to correlate the occurrence of dental caries and angle's molar relationship status in an individual with their lip patterns.
