Abstract
The maxillary sinus is clinically significant to the dental professional because of its close proximity to teeth and its supporting structures. The maxillary sinus pathologiescan mimic odontogenic disease and conversely, the odontogenic disease may mimic sinus pathologies. The routine use of panoramic imaging by dentistsunlocks a room of opportunity for theevaluation of the prevalence of pathologies involving the maxillary sinus.Hence the aim of the study was to evaluate the frequency and location of maxillary sinus pathologies in orthopantomogram (OPG)
