Abstract
The cancers of the oral cavity and the pharynx or oro-pharyngeal cancers are established to be global burden. [1] In India, it is the 1st or most common among men and 3rd most common cancer among women,accounting for over 30% of all cancers reported in the country.[2] Also, the carcinoma of oral mucosa lining is almost always (nearly 90%β95% times) is of the squamous cell carcinoma (SCC).
