Abstract

The free software or OSS are typically two sides of the same coin that believe in sharing and exchange of knowledge/information, as well as user's opinions by allowing them to develop & enhance the software. In fact, the most common is Propriety software where the Programmers/companies who own it keep coding source hiding & protected of being change or modified by others and keep the further enhancement & development for themselves. Unlike OSS where the Programmers/companies who own it allowing the others to be engaged to enhance & develop it as they need/ market's needs. (Yassin, 2014) As is the case in all the technologies in the world, there are pros and cons, so I am going to research this in remembrance of the ethical and legal matters if the government thought of using this technology. I hope that the reader will be taking advantage of the research and profit by others.
